Seller Policy

This Seller Policy applies when you enable a GameLister shop, list items, or accept marketplace payments. GameLister is United States only. It works together with our Terms of Service, Fees, and Safety pages.

1. Accurate listings

• Describe condition, completeness (CIB, loose, etc.), region, and authenticity honestly.
• Photos should represent the actual item. Listing assist suggestions are helpers — you own the final listing.
• Price clearly; do not bait-and-switch after payment.

2. Allowed & prohibited items

• Allowed: games, systems, accessories, trading cards, comics, simulator hardware(sim racing, flight sim, specialty rigs & mounts), and related collectibles that are legal to sell in your jurisdiction.
• Prohibited: stolen goods, counterfeits sold as authentic, illegal content/software piracy, weapons, hazardous materials, and anything barred by Stripe or law.

3. Fulfillment (shipping or local pickup)

• Complete orders promptly after payment, per your handling-time policy.
• Marketplace orders are U.S. only — ship-to U.S. addresses, or local pickup meetups inside the U.S.
• Shipped orders: enter a real carrier tracking number (buy a label in-app via Shippo or paste tracking from elsewhere). Marking shipped without valid tracking is not allowed.
• Local pickup orders:enable local pickup in My store → Shipping. After payment, each party gets a private meetup code in GameLister. At the meetup (public place recommended), the seller enters the buyer's code and the buyer enters the seller's code. Both codes are required to complete the order. Never share codes via off-platform SMS/email scams.
• Funds will not be released until the order is completed (tracking + buyer delivery confirm for shipped orders, or dual meetup codes for local pickup) and any first-sale cooldown / high-value hold has elapsed.
• Orders $500+: take continuous packing/meetup evidence video when practical; use security/tamper stickers when shipping; keep evidence until payout clears. See Safety — high value.
• Off-platform payment apps (Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, etc.) are not GameLister checkout and are not covered by platform payment holds.
• Shipping is free shipping (you cover postage) and/or live Shippo carrier rates. Custom fixed shipping prices are not allowed. Platform fee is on merchandise only.

4. Communication

• Respond to buyer chat and offers in a reasonable time.
• Be professional; no harassment or discriminatory conduct.
• Optional WhatsApp Business contact on your shop is allowed as a convenience. Remind buyers that only GameLister in-app chat is used for disputes— GameLister cannot help with or take into account anything that happens outside our chat system.

5. Fees & payouts

• Marketplace selling fee is 6.5%of merchandise on completed card sales (shipping not fee'd), plus $0.35 when merchandise is under $20. Store hosting is free. Shipping is free or live Shippo rates only — no custom fixed shipping prices.
• Connect Stripe Express for payouts. Incomplete onboarding means buyers cannot complete card checkout on your shop.
• First sale starts a default 7-day payout cooldown.

6. Cancellations & refunds

If you cannot fulfill an order, cancel and refund promptly through supported payment flows / operator guidance. Repeated non-fulfillment may lead to suspension.

7. Ratings

Buyers and sellers may leave ratings. Do not manipulate reviews with fake accounts or incentives that violate platform integrity.

8. Enforcement

We may hide listings, hold payouts, reverse transfers, or ban accounts for policy violations, fraud risk, or legal requirements.
