Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GameLister collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites, apps, and related services (the “Service”). Operated by UG DOG LLC, DBA GameLister.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed), phone, business/shop name, shipping addresses.
• Marketplace activity: listings, photos, messages, offers, orders, ratings, watchlists, saved searches.
• Payment data: handled primarily by Stripe. We store Stripe customer / Connect account identifiers and order amounts — not full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies/session tokens, approximate location from IP, login security signals (e.g. known IPs for captcha).
• Listing media: photos and barcodes you upload or capture to create inventory (stored to run your shop).
• Support: tickets, feedback/ideas, and communications with operators.

2. How we use information

• Provide storefronts, checkout, payouts, chat, and seller tools
• Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and secure accounts
• Process payments and platform selling fees
• Send transactional emails (verification, order, alerts)
• Improve the product (including aggregated analytics)
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms and Seller Policy

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Service:

• Other users: public shop info, listing content, and limited buyer/seller details needed for a transaction (e.g. shipping note you provide, ratings you leave).
• Stripe: payment and Connect onboarding data per their privacy policy.
• Infrastructure / email / listing-assist providers: processors that host or power features (subject to contractual protections where applicable).
• Legal: if required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the platform.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Cookies & sessions

We use essential cookies/local storage for sessions (e.g. sign-in), app mode, and security. Disabling cookies may break login and checkout.

5. Retention

We retain account and order records as long as needed to provide the Service, handle disputes, meet tax/accounting needs, and comply with law. You may request deletion subject to legal holds and transaction records we must keep.

6. Security

We use industry-typical safeguards (hashed passwords, session tokens, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. SMS / text messages (phone verification)

Consumers who opt in will receive SMS/text messages from GameLister (UG DOG LLC) for transactional one-time passcodes (OTP) used for phone verification and account security only — not marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency: verification codes only; typically one message per request (limited resends if needed). Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share a number only with our SMS delivery provider (e.g. Twilio) solely to deliver the verification texts the consumer requested and to operate the Service.

SMS consent is optional and separate from account signup. Consumers can create an account and use GameLister without agreeing to receive text messages. Consent is collected only when the consumer actively checks a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default on the public opt-in form or in Account settings after login.

8. Your choices

• Update profile and shipping addresses in your account settings
• Control saved-search email alerts in the buyer hub
• Request access, correction, or deletion via Support where applicable
• Manage phone SMS verification in Account settings (STOP / remove number)

Depending on where you live (e.g. certain US states, EEA/UK), you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Contact us to exercise them.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the new date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
